Home Remedies For Stretch Marks – Stretch Mark Removal Home Remedy

Pregnancy, sudden weight gain, or any rapid physical changes in the body can cause one’s stretch marks to appear. So whether you’re a male or female, there’s still a possibility that you will have these marks once you experience any of those causes. Unfortunately for others, they are not able to afford the ways to have them removed. Laser treatments and skin peeling that are done in spas and derma clinics are so expensive and require several sessions before you see the changes, making it more unaffordable for some. Special ointments and creams that are made specifically for stretch marks removal are also getting more expensive because although it takes time for it to fade, it can be very effective in terms of stretch mark removal.

Stretch marks usually appear if your skin is not elastic enough to accommodate the physical changes happening in your body. Some doctors say this is because some people have dry skin and if your skin is dry, once it stretches, it will leave a mark. But if your skin is moisturized all the time, then the less marks will appear with any sudden physical changes (in skin) happens. Exercise can be one thing that you can do to make your skin more elastic. This activity also is also one of the most effective home remedies for stretch marks. Even if you already have stretch marks, your skin can go back to its original state once you exercise. There still maybe scars remaining (which can fade by other home remedies for stretch marks), but your skin’s elasticity will improve once you do it regularly.

Eating a well-balanced diet and drinking lots of water can also be one of the home remedies for stretch marks. If you eat properly and hydrate yourself by drinking lots of water then your skin will be more elastic and collagen (the part of your skin that makes it elastic) will work properly in your skin preventing stretch marks. Eat foods that are rich in Vitamin A, E and C. Make sure that you get adequate rest so that your skin won’t dry up because of lack of sleep or stress.

For other home remedies for stretch marks, you can take or apply Vitamin E soft gel capsules, cocoa butter lotion/cream, shea butter lotion/body scrub, or petroleum jelly. These are very cheap and can be bought in any grocery store or drug stores. You can also make your own version of stretch mark reducer cream/lotion. Just ask your dermatologist the way to do it or which ingredients to choose to make it more effective.
